Steroid-induced dermatitis: regeneration after using hormonal ointments
Indications
Steroid-induced dermatitis developed after long-term use of topical hormonal ointments. Symptoms included inflammatory changes, irritation, and weakened skin tolerance.
Case description
The client presented after a dermatological treatment that worsened the skin condition. This required a very cautious, short in-office protocol and consistent, soothing home care.
Treatment protocol
- Stage 1: classic Unstress protocol - 1 procedure.
- Stage 2: after a week, Bio Phyto treatment with Herbal Peel (step 4a), Zaatar Mask, and Unstress Quick Performance Calming Cream.
- The entire plan was conducted with an emphasis on skin comfort.
Home care
- Unstress Comfort Cleansing Mousse - daily, gentle cleansing.
- Unstress Quick Performance Calming Cream - morning and evening for one month, then evening only.
- Unstress Probiotic Day Cream SPF15 during the day, supplemented with Rose de Mer Post Peeling Cover Cream as needed.
Effect
After 3 months, the skin was noticeably calmer, less reddened, and better tolerated skin care.
Specialist's recommendation: In conditions following long-term hormonal therapy, it is crucial to avoid aggressive treatments and consistently apply soothing and regenerating care.
