TREATMENT EFFECT · SEVERE ACNE + ATOPIC DERMATITIS
Severe extrafacial acne in a patient with atopic dermatitis
Indications
Severe, disseminated acne with extrafacial localization (beyond the face), coexisting atopic dermatitis, and hypersensitivity of the hydrolipid barrier.
Case description
The patient presented after previous ineffective methods, with advanced acne and coexisting atopic dermatitis. A long, staged plan combining controlled peeling and post-peeling skin regeneration was chosen.
Treatment protocol
- Peeling stage: Comodex Scrub & Smooth Exfoliator (step 2), Rose de Mer (step 2a + 2b), Comodex Enhanced Peel (step 3c), Comodex Stimulating Detox Lotion (step 4), Bio Phyto Enhanced Herbal Peel (step 4b), Rose de Mer Post-Peel Gel (step 4), Bio Phyto Zaatar Mask.
- Post-peeling regeneration stage (2-3 days after peeling): Comodex Cleansing Gel, Unstress Probiotic Peel, Bio Phyto Alluring Serum, Unstress Optimal Hydration Mask, Unstress Probiotic Day Cream SPF15.
- The entire plan was conducted cyclically for 3 months with monitoring of skin reaction.
Home care
- Forever Young Exfoliating Scrub
- Forever Young Silky Matte Cream
Effect
After 3 months, a gradual calming of active inflammatory lesions was achieved, along with improved epidermal barrier function and better skin tolerance to external factors.
Specialist's recommendation: In severe acne with coexisting atopic dermatitis, it is crucial to avoid aggressive stimulation.
