Sensitive skin with perioral dermatitis symptoms – effect after 4 months of treatment
Indications
Perioral dermatitis, individual papules and pustules in the mouth area, erythema-related eruptions, itching and burning of the skin. The first symptoms appeared about 4–5 years earlier, and previous consultations did not result in an adequately selected skincare regimen.
Case description
A case of sensitive, reactive skin, with persistent discomfort and lesions in the perioral area. The priority of the therapy was to soothe the skin, support the epidermal barrier, and gradually normalize its appearance.
Treatment Protocol
- Unstress – 2 treatments every 10 days.
- Bio Phyto – 4 treatments every 10 days.
- Rose de Mer Peeling – 4 treatments with a post-peeling kit; in the perioral area, coral silicates were used only in the form of a mask.
- Unstress – 4 treatments once a week after peels, as a soothing and regenerating stage.
Home care
- Unstress Comfort Cleansing Mousse – morning and evening.
- Unstress Stabilizing Toner.
- Unstress Total Serenity Serum – twice a day.
- Comodex Mattify & Protect Cream SPF 15 – for daytime.
- Rose de Mer Post Peeling Cover Cream – after peels.
- Bio Phyto Zaatar Cream – in the evening.
- Rose de Mer Peeling Soap – twice a week in the evening, avoiding the mouth area.
- Unstress Quick Performance Calming Cream – twice a week in the evening.
Effect
After 4 months, the skin's appearance and comfort level significantly improved. Only traces of previous perioral dermatitis symptoms remained. The complexion appeared radiant, firm, calm, and healthy. Therapy is ongoing.
