Acne skin therapy with post-inflammatory spots and dehydration
Indications
Acne with active inflammatory elements, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and congestion, oily T-zone, milia, and dehydrated skin.
Case description
The patient reported persistent inflammatory elements and post-acne changes. The problem started after a previous cleansing procedure performed outside the clinic, which led to an exacerbation of the skin condition. Home care was carried out for about 3 years, but the changes did not subside.
Treatment protocol
- Comodex — 2 treatments once a week.
- Bio Phyto — 1 calming and refreshing treatment.
- Comodex — another 2 treatments once a week.
- Unstress — 1 regenerating and soothing treatment.
- Bio Phyto — 3 treatments once every 2 weeks.
Home care
- Comodex Clean & Clear Cleanser
- Bio Phyto Refreshing Toner
- Comodex Mattify & Protect Cream SPF 15
- Bio Phyto Seb-Adjustor Mask
Effect
After 6 months, an improvement in skin structure was observed, with a reduction in the number of visible inflammatory elements and lightening of post-acne changes. The skin appeared smoother, more even, and better balanced.
Specialist's recommendation: For acne and dehydrated skin, it is crucial to combine regular, gently modulating in-office treatments with consistent home care. It is advisable to avoid aggressive cleansing and self-manipulation of lesions.
