Papulopustular acne: soothing inflammation and improving skin texture
Indications
Severe papulopustular acne with deep, highly inflamed papules and cysts, numerous efflorescences, a compromised hydrolipidic barrier, and visible skin defects: dark post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and scars.
Case description
A case requiring a phased protocol aimed at calming skin reactivity, supporting the hydrolipidic barrier, reducing the visibility of post-inflammatory lesions, and gradually evening out the skin's texture.
Treatment protocol
- Bio Phyto: 3 treatments once a week.
- Topical dermatological therapy: Dalacin ointment for 2 months.
- Non-invasive carboxytherapy: 10 treatments every 5 days.
- Rose de Mer Peel: 4 treatments every 21 days.
Home care
- Comodex Clean & Clear Cleanser
- Comodex Purify & Balance Toner
- Comodex Correct & Prevent Gel
- Comodex Renew & Repair Night Treatment
- Comodex Cover & Shield Cream SPF 20
- Unstress Replenishing Mask
- Line Repair Hydra Theraskin + HA
- Rose de Mer Peeling Soap
Result
After approximately 3.5 months of therapy, a reduction in active inflammation, decreased visibility of scars and dark post-inflammatory spots, and a more even skin texture and tone were observed.
Specialist recommendation: In cases of severe acne, a phased approach and cooperation with a dermatologist are recommended, especially for papulopustular lesions.
