Bio Phyto and Comodex for oily skin with blackheads and pustules
Indications
Oily skin, numerous open and closed blackheads, pustules, and uneven skin texture. The patient reported inflammatory lesions lasting for about a year and a lack of regular home routine.
Case description
First-time patient with oily skin and a tendency for comedonal and inflammatory lesions. The treatment plan was based on regular, but not too frequent, in-office support and the introduction of a structured home care routine. Due to good skin tolerance, the Bio Phyto protocol was modified towards a more intensive exfoliating action.
Treatment Protocol
- 7 Bio Phyto treatments at intervals of approximately 3–4 weeks.
- Each treatment was combined with mechanical cleansing.
- In the Bio Phyto protocol, the herbal peel (step 4a) was replaced with Comodex Treat & Regenerate (step 3a) — a regenerating peel with retinol.
- The modification was introduced for a stronger exfoliating effect and to support the reduction of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation visibility.
- Already after the first treatment, the patient noticed less skin shine.
Home Care
- Comodex Clean & Clear Cleanser — skin cleansing in daily routine.
- Christina Fresh Purifying for Normal Skin With Geranium — toning.
- Bio Phyto Zaatar Cream — cream supporting oily skin balance.
- Comodex Renew & Repair Night Treatment — night care.
- Post Peeling Cover Cream Rose de Mer — protective cream after exfoliating procedures.
- Sea Herbal Beauty Mask Azulene — mask once a week.
Effect
After a series of treatments and the implementation of home care, a significant improvement in skin quality was achieved. The number of closed and open blackheads decreased, the skin appeared more orderly and less shiny. The effect was built gradually, over 10 months.
